My experience with collage art bears striking similarities to my introduction to abstract art. At a very young age, I came across images of Hannah Höch and Raoul Hausmann in an art book, and somehow, those works always stuck with me. It wasn’t until much later that I learned about Dadaism as an art movement, and around 2010, I started to explore it more deeply. Its influence on my own collages is unmistakable.
“Dada … constantly seeks movement: only in dynamism does it find peace”, Raoul Hausmann once said. This reflects my own approach – I only find peace when I am actively creating new artworks.
My collages feature elements of the past, present, and future – they represent a postmodern and industrial vision. The exceptional print quality elevates the collages into fascinating, nostalgic eye-catchers.
